Roger Smeed, Chairman of the Board, brings unique corporate and senior management experience and skills, gained in Australia and internationally to his position at Reflections Group. He has extensive experience at a senior executive level in both the private and public sectors.
Roger has over 20 years experience at Chief Executive and Board level with large publicly listed and private companies, smaller emerging companies and Government Business Enterprises (GBEs).
The experience that Roger brings to Reflections Group and the contributions he is able to make at board level are highly valued as the company is positioned to implement its strategic vision to grow and diversify into new markets.
Over the last few years, Roger has made presentations to hundreds of brokers, analysts and investors, and has made numerous personal and written submissions to Industry groups, Government Ministers, officials and regulatory agencies.
As an experienced company director and senior executive, Roger is very conscious of the requirements of both the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) and the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX), regarding the protection of shareholder interests, reporting and disclosure obligations, and corporate governance. He has drafted comprehensive Corporate Governance manuals for use by Boards and employees.
Roger is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management.
